The Institute has a dispensary providing medical services to IJA community. More seriously medical cases are referred to Lushoto District Hospital which is nearby.

Students are required to pay fifty thousand four hundred shillings (Tsh. 50,400/) only for National Health Insurance annual registration if student is not a member of the National Health Insurance Fund or any other Health Medical Insurance.
